We were brought in to take over this partially demolished historic packinghouse in Downtown San Jose and reposition the project for a 265-unit, for-sale, mid-rise mixed-use community.
Original character, repurposed.
In transforming Plant 51, which is situated next to the Cal Train station and across the street from HP Pavilion Arena, we redesigned the original plans to incorporate much of the historic building into the facades and elevations. We also reused much of the demolished materials into the amenity and landscape designs and made public spaces more inviting and luxurious.
A top seller.
Extensive amenities including a work share loft area, bike kitchen, gym and yoga rooms and retail, made this the top selling project in the Bay area at the time.
